New Location list

Alley-way just outside the graveyard:

This alleyway is ideal for our setting because it is a dark location which is isolated.
Location 1 (Graveyard/street): Used to show the main running away (where the flashbacks happen)
Location 2 (Work place): Where the fight happens between the couple
Time period- 21st century, modern, set in Britain (due to british accents)

Filming and Editing

Filming:This included making several different versions of each clip and picking the best one. We used a tripod to get a steady camera for the first scene, and a shaky hand for the second.

Editing involved: -
  • making 'cuts'
  • adding transitions
  • adding sounds/music
  • creating 'slow' motion
  • adding in credits and titles
  • turning scenes into black and white

Feedback for our film

During a lesson where we went through the evaluation process. We watched our unfinished film as an example and the rest of our class had to comment on what was good about it and what could be improved.

Positive feedback

  • flash back effect, shakiness

  • the music built up tension gradually

  • black and white worked within the flashback

  • contrast scenes

Negative feedback

  • music too happy in places

  • dialogue too scripted

  • transition between the end of the flashback and next scene too sharp
